Software at Scale

Cortex is an Internal Developer Portal designed to help engineering teams build better software at scale. With sales rapidly growing and an ever-increasing conference schedule, I was brought in to direct and animate a :60 explainer video that would help maintain top-of-funnel momentum while also providing a boost to their conference presence.

The goal was to develop an ownable visual aesthetic rooted in Cortex’s existing branding. Utilizing simple, geometric shapes and an inviting color palette, the video aimed to strike a balance between precision and friendliness. It also served as the foundation for a more modular visual language that would be further leveraged in future videos.
